mission accomplished: the speech obama should give about iraq war

what obama won't say
mission accomplished: the speech obama should give about iraq warfrom juan cole: Fellow Americans, and Iraqis who are watching this speech, I have come here this evening not to declare a victory or to mourn a defeat on the battlefield, but to apologize from the bottom of my heart for a series of illegal actions and grossly incompetent policies pursued by the government of the United States of America, in defiance of domestic US law, international treaty obligations, and both American and Iraqi public opinion... We cannot undo what has been done. We cannot pretend that the United States did not violate the United Nations charter and the Geneva Conventions. But we can make amends. We can seek redemption as a nation. And our salvation lies in forswearing permanent war, aggressive war, undeclared war, and police actions as a way of life.

ground zero: one nation under guard

thanks to zero point radio for new ground zero archives!
ground zero: one nation under guardfrom clyde lewis: Another 4th of July is upon us and while I have fond memories of the day, sadly it's becoming more like Christmas. The commercialism & politics of the day seem to be far more important than what the day is set out to celebrate. It gets twisted to becoming a political holiday and much like Christmas it does not escape the debate over whether or not the United States is a country ordained by the Judeo-Christian God and founded on Christian scriptures & dogmas.

the latest special interview episode from media monarchy is a great introductory conversation with andrew hoffman, author of 'the new world order & the eugenics wars: a christian perspective'.

the end of days? so many antichrists, so little time

the end of days? so many antichrists, so little timefrom news junkie post: Amid the current scandal involving Pope Benedict XVI, speculation has increased that perhaps Christs very own vicar on earth is none other than the great deceiver. The Antichrist, the harbinger of the end-times, the deceiver who hides behind a facade of goodness. Joseph Ratzinger is a past member of the Hitler Youth and current pederast enabler, cloaked in his holy vestments, holding the faith of billions in the palm of his hands. Many seem to think that the only way to see him clearly is through the nebulous lens of biblical prophecy.

Many evangelicals believe that the Antichrist, or Beast, is a political leader that will carry a message of hope for the people of the world. Many of those same evangelicals believe that there are, in fact, more than one Antichrist working in concert to usher in the end times. The first would be the political leader, followed by a religious leader who gives credibility to the first. The second beast of the book of Revelations would then encourage the masses to first accept, then trust, and finally worship the first beast...

ground zero: ritualistic warfarefrom clyde lewis: The end times have arrived. That is of course if you believe what some people are saying in Chile. The 8.8 earthquake didn’t convince them of this. It is what happened prior to the quake that has many Chileans fearful for what might have opened up before the quake hit. Earthquakes are of course common place in the region and so when the quake began to shake the area of Concepcion, many were thinking that it was just another small shock. The quake lasted longer and the shaking got worse. As the ground opened up and swallowed villages the people saw something else open up in the sky, a ring of fire and brilliant lights.

'operation exodus': louisiana cops plan for 'end of the world' scenario

'operation exodus': louisiana cops plan for 'end of the world' scenariofrom kurt nimmo: Police in Louisiana’s Bossier Parish are training for an "end of the world" scenario, according to the Shreveport Times. The program is dubbed "Operation Exodus," inspired in part from the Book of Exodus in the Bible.

Parish Sheriff Larry Deen told the newspaper the "buck stops" with him. "The liability stops with Larry Deen. I am the chief law enforcement officer in this parish, and it is incumbent upon me [to] protect all of the people in it," the officer said, referring to himself in the third person.

Deen’s plan is to protect Bossier Parish’s vital resources, like food and gasoline, in the event of a catastrophic event, such as war or a terrorist attack. Deen said he had been thinking of the plan since the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11, 2001, reports Drew Pierson.

Under Deen’s plan, the police will use volunteers, supplemented with active public safety personnel, that will be dispatched to vital areas in Bossier to protect them from looters and rioters. Deen listed as examples grocery stores, gas stations, hospitals and other public meeting places.

Instead of normal riot equipment such as shields and batons, the volunteers will be armed with shotguns and have access to a .50-caliber machine gun mounted on a vehicle dubbedthe war wagon.” On February 20, the volunteers were trained in hand-to-hand combat techniques.

"I think every public safety agency should be prepared for disaster response," said Sandy Davis, director of the Caddo-Bossier Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness.

one last important note from the shreveport times:
"Local residents may remember then-President George W. Bush's address to the nation was made out of Barksdale Air Force Base in Bossier City immediately after the attacks. At that time, Deen's men and about 100 other patrol cars barricaded entry to the base to protect the president from what turned out to be the nonexistent threat of an assault on the base."

cult rapture: waiting for the end of the world

virginia legislature bans microchip implants as 'mark of the beast'
virginia legislature bans microchip implants as 'mark of the beast'from allgov: Requiring individuals to have medical implants placed under their skin isn’t just a potential violation of someone’s civil rights - it’s downright satanic. Republican Mark Cole, a member of Virginia’s House of Delegates, is sponsoring legislation that would prevent employers or insurance companies from forcing people to get implants because he thinks the microchips could amount to the Antichrist’s “mark of the beast” mentioned in the Bible. “My understanding - I’m not a theologian - but there’s a prophecy in the Bible that says you’ll have to receive a mark, or you can neither buy nor sell things in end times,” Cole told The Washington Post. “Some people think these computer chips might be that mark.” Some of Cole’s colleagues in the Virginia legislature have been left shaking their heads over the idea. Democrat Robert Brink compared the concern to the likelihood of asteroids striking the earth or giant alligators roaming underground sewers. He also said that California’s legislature passed a similar ban, and that alone was reason enough for Virginia to avoid doing the same thing. “If Virginia is starting to use California as our legislative role model, it’s a sign that our legislative apocalypse has arrived,” Brink told the Free Lance-Star. Nevertheless, Cole’s bill was approved by the House of Delegates last week.

US military weapons inscribed with secret 'jesus' bible codes

weapons maker says it has 'always' added bible references
US military weapons inscribed with secret 'jesus' bible codesfrom abcnews: Coded references to New Testament Bible passages about Jesus Christ are inscribed on high-powered rifle sights provided to the U.S. military by a Michigan company, an ABC News investigation has found.

The sights are used by U.S. troops in Iraq and Afghanistan and in the training of Iraqi and Afghan soldiers. The maker of the sights, Trijicon, has a $660 million multi-year contract to provide up to 800,000 sights to the Marine Corps, and additional contracts to provide sights to the U.S. Army.

U.S. military rules specifically prohibit the proselytizing of any religion in Iraq or Afghanistan and were drawn up in order to prevent criticism that the U.S. was embarked on a religious "Crusade" in its war against al Qaeda and Iraqi insurgents.

One of the citations on the gun sights, 2COR4:6, is an apparent reference to Second Corinthians 4:6 of the New Testament, which reads: "For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ."

Other references include citations from the books of Revelation, Matthew and John dealing with Jesus as "the light of the world." John 8:12, referred to on the gun sights as JN8:12, reads, "Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life."

abortion doctor george tiller gunned down at kansas church

...continuing the return to the days of clinton-era homegrown terrors & heartland errors...
abortion doctor george tiller gunned down at kansas churchfrom dpa: A Kansas physician at the center of the US controversy over abortion was shot to death Sunday morning as he walked into church services in the town of Wichita. George Tiller, 67, one of the country's few physicians who performed late-term abortions, had survived a previous attack in 1993. Police said they had detained a possible suspect found driving a car that met the description of the one that raced away after the shooting at the Reformation Lutheran Church in the town of 380,000 people, according to the Kansas City Star newspaper online. The attack came about 10 am, after services had begun. Tiller's murder brought an outpouring of condemnation from both sides of the heated abortion debate. Nancy Keenan, president of NARAL Pro-Choice America, said Tiller's murder sent 'a chill down the spines of the brave and courageous providers and other professionals who are part of reproductive-health centers that serve women across this country.' Tiller's clinic had been targeted by bombs, shootings and vandalism over the years. Kansas is a stronghold of the anti-abortion movement from which groups of activists fan out across the country to protest.

again, as i have stated many times before: when obama gets into office, we'll switch back to the days of waco's, mcveigh's & the false left/right paradigm of abortion, gay marriage & guns...

obama puts spotlight on murder of abortion doctor
from dpa: US President Barack Obama condemned the murder of an abortion doctor who was shot down inside a Wichita, Kansas, church early Sunday, throwing the national spotlight on the decades-old bitter struggle over the issue... Obama, a centre-left Democrat who supports access to legal abortion, took the unusual step of commenting on the killing. Earlier this month, he signaled his willingness to grapple with the issue in a graduation speech at a Catholic university and appealed for both sides to work together to help women facing unplanned pregnancies. Obama said he was 'shocked and outraged' by Tiller's murder. 'However profound our differences as Americans over difficult issues such as abortion, they cannot be resolved by heinous acts of violence,' the president said in a statement.

nwo: festivals, deception, documentaries & censorship

'new world order' illuminates conspiracy theorists
'new world order' illuminates conspiracy theoristsfrom wired: You've probably heard the conspiracy theories - the Bilderberg Group secretly runs the world, 9/11 was an inside job, a group of elites is working to establish a "new world order." The documentary New World Order, which had its world premiere Friday at the South by Southwest film festival, offers an inside look at the people who dedicate their lives to investigating and spreading the word about such conspiracy theories. The 83-minute movie, by directors Luke Meyer and Andrew Neel, who worked together on 2006's Darkon, focuses chiefly on Alex Jones, a documentary filmmaker and talk-radio host with a loud voice, an urgent message and, many times, a bullhorn in hand. Jones, whose movies include such dire polemics as Endgame: Blueprint for Global Enslavement and Dark Secrets: Inside Bohemian Grove, certainly seems sincere enough as he tries to shine a light on the annual Bilderberg meeting, where world leaders meet in secret to talk about ... something.

'new world order' illuminates conspiracy theoristsAs New World Order follows Jones and some of his fellow conspiracy mongers, it delivers a fascinating look at true believers who are desperate to expose the supposed sins of politicians and business chieftains. Without delving deeply into the conspiracy theories themselves, the movie introduces the real people whose lives are in some instances consumed by these exotic ideas. The grim scenarios outlined by the conspiracy theorists are familiar to anybody with a yen for exploring the information rat holes so prevalent on the internet. One of Jones' cohorts calls the web the conspiracy theorist's best friend - the cheapest and easiest way to disseminate information that's ever existed. Jones has turned his Infowars concept into a cottage industry. But the truly telling part of New World Order is its revealing depiction of the individuals who spend their spare time establishing alternative communities or burning DVDs to hand out at the World Trade Center site. Alternately amusing and poignant, New World Order peels back a layer of mystery to show the conspiracy theorists' strange world. Meyer and Neel set out to make an even-handed documentary that lets Jones and his people speak for themselves, and they've succeeded. It's an interesting and compelling portrait of a thriving subculture.

flashback: 'new world order: the movie' trailer

sxsw ‘09: podcast with alex jones
from greencine: Impassioned radio host and documentary filmmaker Alex Jones would be easy to dismiss as a crackpot if his angry philosophies - on what he might call our totalitarian world government and regularly corroded civil liberties - weren’t so eloquently dispatched. As even his Wikipedia entry details, Jones has been labeled a conspiracy theorist by the mainstream media, so it will be interesting to hear what the uninitiated will think about him after seeing Darkon filmmakers Luke Meyer’s and Andrew Neel’s new doc feature New World Order, premiering at SXSW... Riding shotgun with Jones as he drove around Austin in his specially outfitted vehicle - bullhorn speakers mounted up top to better reach the masses - I mostly stayed out of his way, as he didn’t see me so much an interviewer as simply one more uninformed listener who needed to hear his sermon.

'christian' youtube censors 'the obama deception'
'christian' youtube censors 'the obama deception'from paul joseph watson: A site that brands itself as a kind of ‘You Tube for Christians’ - Tangle.com, which was formally known as Godtube.com, has censored Alex Jones’ new film The Obama Deception after claiming the documentary contained “slander and libel”. One of our readers tried to upload The Obama Deception to the Tangle website in four parts, but two of the sections never made it and the reader was subsequently contacted by Caitlin Reynolds, ‘Community Care’ administrator for Tangle. “Hello and thank you for using tangle!,” stated the e mail. “Your video contains slander and liable (sic). We cannot allow this content on our site with out documented proof of the accusations. Please refer to our Terms of Use for additional information. Please let us know if you have any other questions or concerns!” Firstly, we would advise Tangle.com to try and learn to spell the word “libel” before they attempt to interpret it. Secondly, Obama’s lies are exhaustively documented at every step of the way throughout the film. The content of the documentary itself disproves any claim of “libel” or “slander”. Naturally, Tangle.com failed to cite a single example of defamation in the film but immediately banned it anyway, which is even more bizarre considering the fact that Obama has already put into action policies that should abhor Christians, some of which are touched upon in the film. Perhaps Tangle.com is run by the same kind of phony ‘Christians’ as those that staff the Assembly of God church in Ohio, who recently released a pamphlet encouraging their congregation to all but obey Obama and not criticize his policies, citing a perversion of Romans 13.

review of 'the obama deception'
from rise up rochester: Barack Obama, despite what the Madison Avenue spin doctors try to tell/sell us, is not the ONE. I think Alex Jones and his film The Obama Deception might just be the ONE. The title of this film is slightly misleading because it is not a film about Obama per se, his questionable character, or even the legitimacy of his presidency in light of the questions surrounding the true origin of his birth. It does cover some of his campaign messages/promises and his subsequent reversals upon assuming office.

pat robertson predicts 'US will embrace socialism'

from kurt nimmo: On December 23, the “conservative” preacher Pat Robertson told CNN’s Suzanne Malveaux that he was pleased as punch with the election of Barack Obama. “I am remarkably pleased with Obama. I had grave misgivings about him. But so help me, he’s come in forcefully, intelligently. He’s picked a middle of the road cabinet. And so far, if he continues down this course, he has the makings of a great president,” said Robertson.

Obama’s “middle of the road cabinetconsists of people hailing from the Council on Foreign Relations, the Trilateral Commission, and the secretive Bilderberg group. Timothy Geithner, Obama’s pick to head up the Treasury, is head of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York and is the Fed’s main liaison with Wall Street. Obama’s so-called Economic Recovery Advisory Board will be chaired by former Federal Reserve Chairman Paul Volcker. Obama has outlined his geopolitical plans in Foreign Affairs, the mainstay periodical of the Council on Foreign Relations, and his wife, Michelle Obama, is a member of a branch of the CFR in Chicago.

The CFR has only one purpose and that is to push for world government. Carroll Quigley, the Georgetown University history professor and historian for the CFR wrote the following: “The Council on Foreign Relations is the American Branch of a society which originated in England… (and) …believes national boundaries should be obliterated and one-world rule established.”

It would seem Pat Robertson does not have a problem with any of this. Last week, Robertson claimed to have a conversation with God and in this revelation — Robertson makes predictions based on his supposed conversations with God at the start of the new year — the preacher was told the “people will welcome socialism in order to relieve their pain. Nothing will stand in the way of a plan by Obama to restructure the economy in the same fashion as the New Deal in the ’30s.”

Obama will restructure nothing and Robertson knows it. Barack Obama is a cigar store Indian propped up to placate the people. He is window dressing for the New World Order. “The real rulers in Washington are invisible and exercise power from behind the scenes,” Felix Frankfurter, Justice of the Supreme Court, told FDR, the man credited with the first New Deal. “The real truth of the matter is, as you and I know, that a financial element in the large centers has owned the government ever since the days of Andrew Jackson.” Obama has stacked his administration with representatives from these financial elements.

Robertson knows this. He wrote a book entitled the New World Order. In the book he stated that Colonel Edward M. House, along with other internationalists, realized that America would not embrace world government without a change in public opinion.

possession, prediction, bush & the bible

was high school girl possessed in class?
was high school girl possessed in class?from kprc: Students at a Mississippi high school said a fellow student spoke in tongues and made grave predictions for her classmates for three days. Some of those predictions included when students would die. Pelahatchie High School students called reporters from TV station WAPT, convinced that an evil spirit had taken over Lashundra Clanton. "It was disturbing to a lot of students," Pelahatchie sophomore Rob Sparks said. This week, Sparks said one of his classmates came to school in tears. She was speaking in a deep voice, he said, and sometimes spoke in tongues. Sparks said Clanton told students about little-known facts in their past and made predictions on how some of them would die. "It made some students cry and leave school," Sparks said. "Some have not returned yet." Sparks and his classmates said they think an evil spirit possessed the girl. They were so convinced that Sparks and his friends brought Bibles to school and had a devotional. "Some believe, some don't." Clanton said. "They say it was the devil, but the devil only tells lies. Everything I said was the truth." Clanton said she admits she spoke in tongues and made predictions for her classmates. But she said it was God speaking through her, not the devil.

bush says bible probably not true
from telegraph: "I think you can have both," Mr Bush, who leaves office January 20, told ABC television, adding "You're getting me way out of my lane here. I'm just a simple president." But "evolution is an interesting subject. I happen to believe that evolution doesn't fully explain the mystery of life," said the president, an outspoken Christian who often invokes God in his speeches. "I think that God created the Earth, created the world; I think the creation of the world is so mysterious it requires something as large as an almighty and I don't think it's incompatible with the scientific proof that there is evolution," he told ABC television. Asked whether the Bible was literally true, Mr Bush replied: "Probably not. No, I'm not a literalist, but I think you can learn a lot from it... The important lesson is 'God sent a son,'" he said.

from raw replay: President George W. Bush said in an interview Monday that the Bible is “probably not” literally true. Christian Broadcasting Network reporter David Brody told CNN’s John Roberts that evangelicals were surprised by the president’s remarks. “A lot of social conservatives and evangelicals are surprised, grabbing the smelling salts as we speak, trying to revive them from the floor.” This video is from CNN’s American Morning, broadcast Dec. 11, 2008.

historian demands action on powerful doomsday cults

historian demands action on powerful doomsday cultsfrom henry makow: A Munich-based historian Wolfgang Eggert, 46, has launched an Internet petition to demand action on powerful Jewish and Christian cults that want to instigate a nuclear holocaust to fulfill Biblical prophesy.

He thinks religious fanatics must be exposed and removed from power. He points to the Jewish Chabad Lubavitcher sect who want to hasten Armageddon to facilitate the intervention of the Messiah. Eggert quotes a Lubavitcher rabbi who says:"the world is waiting for us to fulfill our role in preparing the world to greet Moshiach" (i.e. Messiah.)

Their members include Paul Wolfowitz, the architect of the Iraq War which began with an attack named after a Cabalist diety, "Shekinah" ("Shock and Awe"). Especially worrisome now is Chabadnik Joe Lieberman who visited Israel in March with his buddy John McCain. There is concern over Sen. Carl Levin who is Chair of the Senate Armed Services Committee. Other prominent Orthodox Jews who might be part of this cult include Bush Attorney General Michael Mukasey, Homeland Security Director Michael Chertoff and former Pentagon Controller Dov Zakheim, implicated in the disappearance of "trillions" of dollars.

While the Chabad Lubavitchers are his focus, Eggert is also concerned about Christian Evangelists like Jack Van Impe and Timothy LaHaye who are close to the Bush administration. Their desired scenario includes the destruction of the al-Aqsa mosque, the restoration of the Third Temple on its site; the rising to heaven of the 144,000 Chosen Ones; the battle of Armageddon; mass death among Israeli Jews and the Final Coming of Jesus Christ.
