from skynews: Archaeologists working at the World Trade Centre site in New York have found the remains of a wooden ship apparently buried there more than 200 years ago.
Considering the media hype surrounding the fifth anniversary of 9/11, the fifth anniversary of 7/7 doesn't seem to have attracted much attention... I guess the reason they are not giving it much attention is because they don't want people to look into it. It is after all one of the the most suspicious terror attacks in recent history.
An IRA informer was asked to place the bomb in the offices on Kevin Street in the summer of 1971, according to George Clarke, a retired Royal Ulster Constabulary Special Branch Detective Sergeant.
The counter-terrorism officer, who left the police more than 20 years ago, said the security services eventually decided not to go through with the attack, but not before he had put the proposition to his source.
He made the claims in Border Crossing - his newly published memoir of his time working in the RUC's intelligence unit.
bombshell: bin laden worked for US until 9/11 from against all enemies: Former FBI translator Sibel Edmonds dropped a bombshell on the Mike Malloy radio show, guest-hosted by Brad Friedman (audio, partial transcript). In the interview, Sibel says that the US maintained 'intimate relations' with Bin Laden, and the Taliban, "all the way until that day of September 11." These 'intimate relations' included using Bin Laden for 'operations' in Central Asia, including Xinjiang, China. These 'operations' involved using al Qaeda and the Taliban in the same manner "as we did during the Afghan and Soviet conflict," that is, fighting 'enemies' via proxies. As Sibel has previously described, and as she reiterates in this latest interview, this process involved using Turkey (with assistance from 'actors from Pakistan, and Afghanistan and Saudi Arabia') as a proxy, which in turn used Bin Laden and the Taliban and others as a proxy terrorist army.

mi5 says it was infiltrated by al-qaeda from kurt nimmo: Sky News, the British version of Fox News, expects us to believe al-Qaeda infiltrated MI5, the Brit secret service. “Patrick Mercer, a Conservative member of Parliament, is demanding a probe into claims six Muslims were thrown out of MI5 because of concerns about their past. Two of the six allegedly attended Al Qaeda training camps in Pakistan while the others had unexplained gaps of up to three months in their resumes.” It is said MI5 had “mistakenly” recruited the al-Qaeda members and they were uncovered during the vetting process. In the film “The Power of Nightmares,” top CIA officials admit that al-Qaeda does not exist as advertised (see the BBC documentary here). It was created to scare the sheep into surrendering their rights and accepting a police state.
from independent: Police and the MI5 spy agency likely missed chances to identify the key men behind the 2005 London bombings, but could have done little more to halt the attacks given their limited resources, lawmakers said today. A detailed report into what was known before the attacks, which killed 52 people on three subway cars and a bus, reveals how one of the bombers was tracked by intelligence officers as early as 2001. Two of the men were repeatedly spotted with other terrorists in 2004, but never properly identified, the report concludes.
The inquiry, by Parliament's Intelligence and Security Committee, makes the alarming disclosure that in 2004, MI5 had poor or no surveillance of 60 per cent of suspected terrorists. Only 6 per cent of suspects were adequately kept under surveilance, the lawmakers' report said. Jonathan Evans, head of MI5, estimates there are around 2,000 known terrorists operating in Britain. Officials estimate there are likely thousands more unknown to authorities.
1 in 8 US homeowners late paying or in foreclosure from reuters: About one in eight U.S. homeowners with mortgages, a record share, ended 2008 behind on their loan payments or in the foreclosure process as job losses intensified a housing crisis spawned by lax lending practices, the Mortgage Bankers Association said on Thursday. With unemployment at a 16-1/2-year high and expected to continue rising until mid- to late 2010, more borrowers will pay late or fall into foreclosure this year, said the group's chief economist. "While California, Florida, Nevada, Arizona and Michigan continue to dominate the delinquency numbers, some of the sharpest increases we saw last quarter in loans 90 days or more delinquent were in Louisiana, New York, Georgia, Texas and Mississippi, signs of the spreading impact of the recession," said Jay Brinkmann.
mi5 alert on bank riots from daily express: Top secret contingency plans have been drawn up to counter the threat posed by a “summer of discontent” in Britain. The “double-whammy” of the worst economic crisis in living memory and a motley crew of political extremists determined to stir up civil disorder has led to the extraordinary step of the Army being put on standby. MI5 and Special Branch are targeting activists they fear could inflame anger over job losses and payouts to failed bankers. One of the most notorious anarchist websites, Class War, asks: “How to keep warm during the credit crunch? Burn a banker.” Such remarks have rung alarm bells in Scotland Yard and the Ministry of Defence. Intelligence sources said the police, backed by MI5, are determined to stay on top of a situation that could spiral out of control as the recession bites deep. The chilling prospect of soldiers being drafted on to the streets has not been discounted, although it is regarded as a last resort.
cnbc analyst: global bank & global currency within 15yrs from paul joseph watson: Head of market analysis for Schneider Foreign Exchange Stephen Gallo told CNBC yesterday [feb25] that the financial crisis will lead to the creation of a global central bank and a global single currency within 15 years, echoing the call of top globalists who have exploited the problems they created to push for a new world financial order. Highlighting the significance of the introduction of the Euro, Gallo said that the single currency was “where we are headed globally on a monetary basis over the course of the next 10 to 15 years.” ... As we have highlighted before, the elite have exploited the problem that they created to push for increased centralization and regulation of the world economic system in the pursuit of a de-facto global financial dictatorship.
fire consumes wtc7-size skyscraper, building does not collapse from paul joseph watson: A fierce fire consumed all 44 floors of a skyscraper in Beijing today, shooting 30 foot flames into the air, but unlike the similarly-sized 47-story WTC 7, which suffered limited fires across just eight floors, the building in China did not collapse. “The fire was burning from the ground floor to the top floor of the large building, the flames reflecting in the glass facade of the main CCTV tower next to the hotel and cultural center,” reports the New York Times. “The 241-room Mandarin Oriental hotel in the building was due to open this year. Flames were spotted around 7:45 p.m. and within 20 minutes the fire had spread throughout the building, dominating that part of the city.” “Hundreds of firefighting vehicles and police blocked off all approaches to the building - which was also set to house a luxury hotel due to be opened in 2009 - with flames appearing to leap 20 to 30 feet into the air,” adds The London Times.
still standing: the building that proves wtc7 was imploded from paul joseph watson: New videos of the Mandarin Oriental Hotel fire in Beijing highlight the vivid contrast between the damage it suffered as it was completely consumed by roaring flames, yet remained standing, and the comparative sporadic fires across just 8 floors that led to the complete free fall collapse of WTC 7. 9/11 truth debunkers are in a bind as to how to respond to the Beijing skyscraper fire because of the building’s similarity in size to Building 7 and the gargantuan fire damage it suffered in comparison with the limited “office fires” witnessed in WTC 7. The Mandarin Oriental Hotel is over 500 feet tall, just 100 feet short of the height of WTC 7.
uk terrorists plan new 9/11 attack on US? from presstv: The CIA has launched a large-scale espionage operation to prevent a suspected terror attack, believed to be brewing in the UK, on US soil. American spy chiefs believe a British-born Pakistani extremist entering the United States under the Visa Waiver Program is likely to be the source of another 9/11-style attack. During recent intelligence briefings US President Barack Obama was warned by the CIA about the growing threat posed by British "Islamist extremists" to US homeland security. The CIA has informed the newly-installed US president that it has planted record numbers of informants in Britain's Pakistani community to monitor the 2,000 terrorist suspects identified by MI5 - the British Security Service. A former CIA officer and an advisor to President Obama, Bruce Riedel, told The Sunday Telegraph that "The British Pakistani community is recognized as probably al-Qaeda's best mechanism for launching an attack against North America." Riedel, who has worked as a Middle East expert on the White House National Security Council for three presidents, added, "President Obama's national security team are well aware that this is a serious threat... Around 40 per cent of CIA activity on homeland threats is now in the UK. This is quite unprecedented," said the British intelligence source.
lost mi5 fax could have stopped 7/7 from daily mail: A chance to stop the 7/7 bombers may have been missed when a secret services fax to police went missing. The Ministry of Defence said the survey revealed “areas of concern” but that conditions were being improved.

british troops overrun town for training exercise from lawrence journal-world: Thursday may have seemed like any other day for most in Leavenworth, but for about 180 British officers, an enemy was on the loose threatening civilians. Tactical forces were moved in, and soldiers took their positions outside schools and churches preparing to isolate the terrorist activity. While it may have been a fictional enemy in theory, for visiting officers with the United Kingdom’s Intermediate Command and Staff Course who were roaming the streets of Leavenworth, the tactical solutions they used to end the threats were real.
