from washington times: Americans avoided television in historic levels over the past week. CBS, NBC, ABC and Fox together had the smallest number of prime-time viewers last week in two decades of record-keeping, the Nielsen Co. said. Given the dominance of the big broadcasters before then, you'd probably have to go back to the early days of television to find such a collective shrug. The first week of July tends to be among the slowest weeks of the year in television, anyway, with families more engaged in barbecues and fireworks. The problem was magnified this year because July Fourth came on Sunday, largely knocking out one of a typical week's biggest viewing nights.

from clyde lewis: I have heard so many interpretations of the film [Avatar]. I have read about the environmental criticisms, the anti military message and the idea of Gaia worship. I have seen comparisons to what we as Americans have done to indigenous tribes and how we invade and eat up resources in order to get oil.

I am sure those interpretations are valid but as I watched it I realized a deeper meaning to the film that once again taps into a meme that we have buried deep in our subconscious.

The film is loaded with symbolism and occult ritual that may have been channeled directly to those who watched it. When thousands of people are exposed to a film like Avatar it is imperative to analyze what message is being sent. I am seeing that the film represents our past as well as our future. It has all of the trappings of occult symbols and names and the scenes of devastation can only be described as biblical and symbolic.

The symbolic nature of the film borders on Luciferian or Illuminating lore that is discussed primarily in secret schools, and in lodges of knowledge. The truth is, the public may not know that they witnessed a retelling of Eden. This time we witness the burning of Eden and the tampering with the tree of life, and the genetic makeup of mankind...

Our future is on course for total destruction and renewal with the answer to survival being our own transference into genetically altered containers that can withstand the harsh environment of the new world.

This is all witnessed by the eye of the great God of chaos. The most interesting thing about this film is the emphasis in both promotion and story line of the film of the Illuminati all-seeing Eye. The all Seeing Eye is seen in all of the promotional posters of the film...

The message of Avatar is very simple. We witnessed an Armageddon in the past and we are awaiting Armageddon in the future. The Antichrist is here in the form of an avatar or shape shifter. His soul is under the control of some force unknown to man. The well of souls at the Dome of the Rock is about to be destroyed and soon we will learn the unobtanium known as the truth is quite obvious.

from wired: The strangest monument in America looms over a barren knoll in northeastern Georgia. Five massive slabs of polished granite rise out of the earth in a star pattern. The rocks are each 16 feet tall, with four of them weighing more than 20 tons apiece. Together they support a 25,000-pound capstone. Approaching the edifice, it's hard not to think immediately of England's Stonehenge or possibly the ominous monolith from 2001: A Space Odyssey. Built in 1980, these pale gray rocks are quietly awaiting the end of the world as we know it.

Called the Georgia Guidestones, the monument is a mystery—nobody knows exactly who commissioned it or why. The only clues to its origin are on a nearby plaque on the ground—which gives the dimensions and explains a series of intricate notches and holes that correspond to the movements of the sun and stars—and the "guides" themselves, directives carved into the rocks. These instructions appear in eight languages ranging from English to Swahili and reflect a peculiar New Age ideology. Some are vaguely eugenic (guide reproduction wisely—improving fitness and diversity); others prescribe standard-issue hippie mysticism (prize truth—beauty—love—seeking harmony with the infinite).

What's most widely agreed upon—based on the evidence available—is that the Guidestones are meant to instruct the dazed survivors of some impending apocalypse as they attempt to reconstitute civilization. Not everyone is comfortable with this notion. A few days before I visited, the stones had been splattered with polyurethane and spray-painted with graffiti, including slogans like "Death to the new world order." This defacement was the first serious act of vandalism in the Guidestones' history, but it was hardly the first objection to their existence. In fact, for more than three decades this uncanny structure in the heart of the Bible Belt has been generating responses that range from enchantment to horror. Supporters (notable among them Yoko Ono) have praised the messages as a stirring call to rational thinking, akin to Thomas Paine's The Age of Reason. Opponents have attacked them as the Ten Commandments of the Antichrist.

US author to unveil washington's masonic past

from afp: A sequel to the blockbuster thriller "The Da Vinci Code" is set to lift the veil on mysterious Freemason symbols carved into the very fabric of the historic streets and buildings of the US capital.

Novelist Dan Brown has set the new adventures of his hero, scholar-adventurer Robert Langdon, right in the heart of Washington, which could reveal some astonishing facts for history buffs.

Brown "had a contact with us but then cut it short. We are all sitting around waiting for his book to come out but nobody knows what he's going to say," Akram Elias, grand master-elect of Washington's Grand Lodge, told AFP.

According to the pre-publicity, the book - working title "The Solomon Key" - will feature Langdon hero of the mass-selling "The Da Vinci Code" and who was played by Tom Hanks in the hit film version.

"For the first time, Langdon will find himself embroiled in a mystery on US soil. This new novel explores the hidden history of our nation's capital," Brown wrote in a posting on his official website.

Washington has strong historic roots in Freemasonry - an old and widespread fraternity which traditionally practised secret rituals.
