"There will be coups ... There will be genocide ... There will be terrorism."

Speaking to Deutsche Welle, he pointed out that at least two US presidents were tested early in office – the two World Trade Center attacks occurred in the first year of Bill Clinton’s and George W. Bush’s presidencies. Brzezinski added that changing the substance of US policies is not as easy as it sounds and Obama may be incapable of bringing “dramatic change” to Washington.

There was an alleged attempt to bomb Glasgow airport in Gordon Brown’s first days in Downing Street and a London nightclub attack was narrowly thwarted. Lord West of Spithead, the Home Office Security Minister, spoke recently of a “huge threat”, saying: “There is another great plot building up again and we are monitoring this.”
lieberman warns of possible '09 terrorist attack from politico: Joe Lieberman, appearing on Face the Nation today, made the case for McCain with a blunt reminder. "Our enemies will test the new president early," said Lieberman. "Remember that the truck bombing of the World Trade Center happened in the first year of the Clinton administration. 9/11 happened in the first year of the Bush administration." That is some statement - and one that I doubt Lieberman just hatched over coffee in the Green Room.

The FBI has denied his allegations.
iran mosque blast plotters admit israeli & US links from afp: Iran’s chief prosecutor said bombers who caused a deadly blast at a mosque in Shiraz had confessed of links to Israel and the United States, the ISNA student news agency reported on Friday. “Those responsible for the attack against the Shiraz mosque have confessed to having links to worldwide oppression, in particular the United States and Israel,” Ghorbanali Dorri-Najafabadi was quoted by the agency as saying.
cia protects al-qaeda group from extradition from paul joseph watson: The CIA is protecting an Al-Qaeda linked terror group formerly headed by the alleged mastermind of 9/11 from being extradited to Iran according to an ABC News report, which also reveals that U.S. intelligence has been meeting and advising the group that has been blamed for bombings in Iran. As the London Telegraph reported last year, "The CIA is giving arms-length support, supplying money and weapons, to an Iranian militant group, Jundullah, which has conducted raids into Iran from bases in Pakistan." Jundullah is a Sunni Al-Qaeda offshoot terrorist group formerly headed by the alleged mastermind of 9/11, Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, reported the Asia Times in 2004.

If this seems like a stretch, consider the fact British intelligence sheltered Abu Qatada and his family...
