listen to corbett report on @RBNlive weeknights at midnight from corbett report: If a movie is based on a book that is based on a real experiment that later actually happens in real life, is it “real” or “fiction.” Join us today on The Corbett Report as we step through the looking glass in search of information about Sirhan Sirhan, the shooting of RFK, CIA mind control experiments, and the blurring of the line between real life and fantasy.
from latimes: In a new court filing, the man who assassinated Robert F. Kennedy in 1968 said he was controlled by a mystery woman at the time of the killing. In the papers, which were reviewed by the Associated Press, Sirhan Sirhan says he was led to the Ambassador Hotel with a gun by an unidentified woman in a polka-dot dress.
Last month, Sirhan's lawyer tried to convince a parole board that his client was a brainwashed hit man when he gunned down Sen. Robert F. Kennedy at the Ambassador Hotel in Los Angeles in 1968. The board refused to release Sirhan. But The Times last month reported on handwritten notes purportedly from Sirhan, kept for 42 years by a Century City business executive, that appear to tell a different story.
Michael McCowan was an investigator and the youngest member of Sirhan’s defense team in 1969 when the accused assassin wrote on a legal notepad the narrative of his visit to a target practice range and his election-night trip to the hotel. “He wrote it right in front of me,” said McCowan, now 78. The lawyer currently representing Sirhan suggested he was “manipulated” and “set up” and did not act alone when Kennedy was shot.
According to the new documents reviewed by AP, Sirhan said he didn't realize he was firing at Robert Kennedy. "I thought that I was at the range more than I was actually shooting at any person, let alone Bobby Kennedy," he said, according to the documents.
present & future testing on humans still secret... from ap: Shocking as it may seem, U.S. government doctors once thought it was fine to experiment on disabled people and prison inmates. Such experiments included giving hepatitis to mental patients in Connecticut, squirting a pandemic flu virus up the noses of prisoners in Maryland, and injecting cancer cells into chronically ill people at a New York hospital.
An exhaustive review by The Associated Press of medical journal reports and decades-old press clippings found more than 40 such studies. At best, these were a search for lifesaving treatments; at worst, some amounted to curiosity-satisfying experiments that hurt people but provided no useful results.
These studies were worse in at least one respect — they violated the concept of "first do no harm," a fundamental medical principle that stretches back centuries.
for the last couple of years, the three volume set of 'sinister forces: a grimoire ofamerican political witchcraft' has always been within arm's reach. i've learned that whenever something in the news has reverberations back through the history/mystery of 20th century america, i can just jump to the indices & start to see some of the dots connect...
now the polanski polemic, as i've called it, has become perfect fodder for the culture wars: it's middle america vs hollywood. and while the average person may know the water cooler talking points, most of these discussions are long on moralizing & short on the shadowy substance... those "names to conjure with", the "dates that have resonance" & the things "that scream out for an explanation where none can be provided."
one of the most incredible examples: on june 5, 1968, roman polanski & sharon tate attended a dinner party at director john frankenheimer's house where the guest of honor would have his last supper. that guest was robert francis kennedy & he was driven to the ambassador hotel later that night by the director of 'the manchurian candidate'... and, did you know that polanski had john phillips, of the mamas & the papas, investigated for his possible involvement in the murder of sharon tate? ... add to this mix squeaky fromme, scientology, robert evans, west virginia, aleister crowley, disneyland, and of course, the specter that haunts this american house: charles manson.
when i began to see these red flags, i immediately reached out to our guest & author of the amazing 'sinister forces': peter levenda. he has written numerous other books on our hidden history, like his recent 'secret temple: masons, mysteries & the founding of america'. levenda is an authority on these subjects & has also been featured in numerous documentaries concerning the 'unholy alliance' of nazis, the occult & US.
this latest special interview episode from media monarchy - the ninth one, appropriately enough - is a quick, yet fascinating look behind the media mask... behind the face that they present & a glimpse into what it really represents... all this & so much more - just in time for crowley's birthday, the bombing of the moon & halloween.
from ap: U.S. Senator Edward Kennedy, a towering figure in the Democratic Party who took the helm of one of America's most fabled political families after two older brothers were assassinated, died at age 77, his family said. "Edward M. Kennedy, the husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle we loved so deeply, died late Tuesday night at home in Hyannis Port (Massachusetts)," the Kennedy family said in a statement early on Wednesday. Kennedy had brain cancer, which was diagnosed in May 2008. He was one of the most influential and longest-serving senators in U.S. history, a liberal standard-bearer who recovered politically from a string of personal scandals to become known as a consummate congressional dealmaker...
Known as "Teddy," he was the brother of President John Kennedy, assassinated in 1963, Senator Robert Kennedy, fatally shot while campaigning for the 1968 Democratic presidential nomination, and Joe Kennedy, a pilot killed in World War Two...
After RFK's death, Edward was expected to waste little time in vying for the presidency. But in '69, a young woman drowned after a car Kennedy was driving plunged off a bridge on the Massachusetts resort island of Chappaquiddick after a night of partying. Kennedy's image was tarnished after it emerged he had failed to report the accident to authorities. He pleaded guilty to leaving the scene & received a suspended sentence. Kennedy eventually ran for his party's presidential nomination in '80 but lost to then-President Jimmy Carter. His presidential ambitions thwarted, Kennedy devoted himself to his Senate career.
upcoming novel to describe jfk as sex-fiend from thaindian: A new novel describes former U.S. President John F. Kennedy as a shameless sex-fiend who destroyed numerous lives. Publisher Simon & Schuster has revealed that British writer Jed Mercurio's book, entitled American Adulterer, will describe JFK as a philanderer during his White House years. The publisher said that the book would revealed that Kennedy had an “uncontrollable and unrelenting appetite for sexual adventure,” reports the New York Post. Simon & Schuster has also revealed that the book, scheduled for release in July, will also talk about real-life Kennedy liaisons as Marilyn Monroe, Angie Dickinson and Judith Campbell Exner. Representatives for JFK's daughter, Senate hopeful Caroline Kennedy, were unavailable for comment.
the daddy bush connection with jfk's assassination from op-ed news: This is merely a small sample of many, many more sites where these came from. Some may be over the top (or not), but most of them are as historically/factually substantive as the 9/11 “inside job” scenario - so validated by scientific evidence, on the spot observations, and pictures of IMPLODING, not exploding, towers!
It is limitlessly suspicious that Bush Sr. and Jr. have their hands all over the two most consecutively treasonous events which have defined American history as much as the Civil War.
The trail to the truth of JFK’s assassination may be cold, but it would be a virtual act of God if it helped to confirm the engineering of 9/11 by George W. Bush, and his fascist elite masters -- and visa-versa for JFK's assassination. Could 9/11 ironically be the event that also leads to the truth of JFK's assassination! What a twofer that would be?
Like father, like son?
ps: Naturally it's also a matter of historical record that GRANDFATHER Prescott Bush tried to engineer a Nazi coup d'etat in America in the 30's. The archetypal treason family of Bush's -- who also made much (most?) of their fortune with connections with the Germany's WW2 evil incarnate Third Reich.
new bush family expose: 'family of secrets' from secrecy news: What does it say about the American political system that someone like George W. Bush was able to ascend to the highest office in the land, despite his meager and ambiguous record? In pursuit of an answer to that question, investigative journalist Russ Baker has constructed a full-fledged counterhistory of the last half-century as it pertains to the Bush family. He writes in his new book “Family of Secrets” that he discovered a “dimension of power” that conditions and distorts the American political process. It lies at the intersection of corporate oil interests, finance and intelligence, and the Bushes have been at the heart of it. With a brief apology to the reader, Baker revisits the JFK assassination (and George H.W. Bush’s peculiar response to it) and he embraces a radical reinterpretation of Watergate in which President Nixon is the target and victim of the conspiracy rather than its instigator. "Family of Secrets" postulates a network of politically and financially powerful individuals working behind the scenes to advance their interests at the expense of the nation.
'good bobby' writer-actor digs deep into kennedy's core from latimes: It's been a grand time lately for actors playing famous U.S. political figures on film: Josh Brolin in "W," Sean Penn in "Milk" and Frank Langella reprising his stage role in "Frost/Nixon." Another compelling, if far less publicized re-creation of a major politician is also currently on view, this time on stage, in "Good Bobby," a new drama about Robert F. Kennedy, written by and starring Brian Lee Franklin. The ambitious 10-character play, back at the Greenway Court Theatre after an extended run, covers RFK's life and career from his early to late 30s, starting in 1958 with his role as chief counsel to the Senate Rackets Committee. It continues through older brother Jack's presidential win, Bobby's appointment as attorney general, and JFK's assassination, ending around the time of Bobby's 1964 U.S. Senate run.
and here are some more reviews for new limited-hangout books we've already covered... (because the mob also had the secret service stand-down, stole the body, mangled the autopsy, destroyed evidence, setup a coverup commission, etc... just like obl had norad stand-down, destroyed evidence, setup a coverup commission, etc...)
the mob did it (we think) from daily beast: A new book by the long-time assassination researchers Lamar Waldron and Thom Hartmann adds some new information to the legitimate accumulating literature. Legacy of Secrecy: The Long Shadow of the JFK Assassination delves into the murder of JFK in over 800 pages of intricately documented data. It expands on their earlier Ultimate Sacrifice, which analyzed thousands of pages of released classified documents. Their findings add pieces to one of our most perplexing puzzles, and suggest where the key missing pieces may be found.
heavily researched book links jfk murder to killing of mlk & rfk from canadian press: A new, heavily researched book on John F. Kennedy's murder and its investigation sees links with a bagful of sensational stories, from President Johnson's fear of a nuclear attack by the Soviets to the killing of Martin Luther King Jr. The links all connect with the main contention in "Legacy of Secrecy" that the assassination was engineered by Carlos Marcello, longtime Mafia boss in New Orleans. That theory is far from new. There's evidence that Attorney General Robert Kennedy, the president's brother, believed it. Authors Lamar Waldron and Thom Hartmann broaden the theme.
marcello had jfk killed from inentertainment: A new book has been released, Legacy of Secrecy: The Long Shadow of the JFK Assassination was written by Lamar Waldron. In the book it proposes that Mafia Mobster Boss, Carlos Marcello from New Orleans had JFK killed. This is not a new theory, but the book cites a testimony from Marcello where he said “Yeah, I had the son of a bitch killed. I’m glad I did. I’m sorry I couldn’t have done it myself.” It seems that Marcello does not care who knows that he orchestrated the assassination of President John F. Kennedy. The former mobster boss also claims that he knew Jack Ruby, and he had him kill Lee Harvey Oswald. The new book which has 848 pages also looks at the links between Marcello and the murders of Robert F. Kennedy and Martin Luther King.
3 new books offer competing versions of jfk's assassination from new york observer: What can we hope to gain from a new book about the J.F.K. assassination? Surely not that it reveal some definitive truth about the events in Dallas, since with every passing year, with each frustrating release of declassified information, it becomes clear that no such revelation will ever be forthcoming. Rather, the best such a book can offer is a narrative that is plausible and in some way resonant; a story that provides the consolations of fiction rather than fact. If we can’t have the truth, then at least give us a myth we can believe in, a story with villains and heroes, with tragedy and some sense of redemption.
Perhaps sensing this, the publishers of Brothers in Arms claim that it depicts the events surrounding the assassination “in a narrative non-fiction format, using … techniques of the most highly readable novels.” Written by veteran investigative reporter Gus Russo in collaboration with novelist and screenwriter Stephen Molton, this elegantly composed book depicts those few seconds in Dallas as being the culmination of a blood feud between two sets of brothers, the Castros and Kennedys...
Legacy of Secrecy proves, in many ways, to be a mirror image of Brothers in Arms. Written by veteran Kennedy investigator Lamar Waldron (assisted by Air America host Thom Hartmann), it asserts that Oswald was in fact an anti-Castro agent involved in a C.I.A. plot to overthrow the Cuban leader, which was slated to take place just days after Kennedy’s killing...
For its part, James W. Douglass’ JFK and the Unspeakable puts forward a scenario in which J.F.K. was cut down by a C.I.A.-administered plot that used Oswald as a patsy. Mr. Douglass, “a longtime peace activist,” believes Kennedy was murdered by shadowy forces because he was in the process of renouncing the cold war and all its toxic legacies: the arms race, Vietnam, the anti-Castro campaign, even predatory capitalism in the form of Big Steel
from whdh: Newly discovered audio tapesprovide a look inside the life of John F. Kennedy just as he was getting his 1960 presidential campaign started. The audio was recorded at a dinner party at the Kennedy home in Georgetown. Two journalists asked the young senator about life, health, and politics. The tapes were recorded just over three months before Kennedy's assassination in 1963.
jfk’s other world from filmstew: Perhaps the strangest thing about the new documentary At the Center of the World: Hyannis Port and the Presidency of John F. Kennedy, which premiered to a standing ovation last Friday in Cape Cod, involves the credentials of its director Andrew Fone. Because the man responsible for this celebration of how important JFK’s “summer White House” was to his brief Presidential reign is a producer with Fox News in Boston. Talk about moonlighting for the other team. Senator Edward Kennedy was originally scheduled to attend the October 3rd premiere at the Hyannis Port Club, which benefited the John F. Kennedy Hyannis Museum Foundation. But due to his recent battles with brain cancer, he was present on screen only in the form of many warm-hearted recollections about his older brother... As an indication of just how much things have changed, Kennedy aide David Crawford - per a report in the Cape Cod Times - recalls for example in the film how JFK , while awaiting the final results of the 1960 Presidential election, relaxed by passing around a football with staff and Secret Service men. And sure enough, Kennedy spent many a weekend morning or afternoon sailing his own Wianno Senior named the Victura. Fone’s feature-length doc also touches on the ease with which JFK befriended children, giving them rides in his golf cart, buying them penny candy at the village's News Shop or skipping stones and having floating sea shell contests with them.
man grazed by jfk bullet spreading gospel of cover-up from longview news-journal: In the hours after John F. Kennedy was assassinated, James T. Tague went down to the Dallas police station to give a statement of what he had seen. Speaking Tuesday night to a group of about 20 people at the Longview Public Library, Tague once again recounted the afternoon: Late for a date, he had gotten out of his car to find out why traffic had stopped. He soon realized it was because of the president's motorcade. As Tague watched the procession make its way down the street, he heard what sounded like a firecracker go off, followed by rifle shots. The next thing he knew, a man standing on the grassy knoll nearby yelled out, "His head exploded! His head exploded!" Kennedy had been shot. Caught up in the commotion, it took Tague a moment to realize that his face had been grazed by shrapnel after a bullet struck the curb near where he was standing. Like many other witnesses, Tague was drawn into the initial investigation, asked by officials to recount what he had seen. Nearly 45 years later, Tague continues to tell audiences of his observations and about the cover-up he believes the government was in on. "Kennedy was murdered by our own government," Tague said. "They wanted (Lyndon) Johnson in the White House. Everyone around Johnson wanted him" to be president. Tague's interest in the 1963 shooting led him to evidence that he says points to the government's involvement in the assassination. After years of digging, he has completed his book, "Truth Withheld." "The story needs to be told," Tague said... Tague admits that nobody will ever know the exact truth about what happened. There are a number of details that he said he isn't sure about — how many shooters there were, for instance. But he is positive of at least one thing: "This is a complete cover-up of a coup d'etat."
ready for another jfk conspiracy movie? here comes ‘dorothy kilgallen’ from moviesblog: Mulder and Scully may be in semi-retirement these days, but that doesn’t mean conspiracy theories are dead. Producer John Davis has optioned Paul Alexander’s soon-to-be-published book “Good Night, Dorothy Kilgallen,” an expose tying the death of journalist Kilgallen to her investigation of President John F. Kennedy’s assassination.
Kilgallen considered Kennedy a friend, and was obsessed with investigating the circumstances of his death. She became convinced his assassination was part of a conspiracy, and was determined to prove it. She managed to obtain enough evidence and interviews (including the only one with Jack Ruby, the man who shot Lee Harvey Oswald) that the FBI kept her under close surveillance.
Alexander’s book alleges that Kilgallen was murdered after finishing her book, “Murder One,” and that all its chapters about JFK disappeared. Her death was certainly under mysterious circumstances, and many have argued that she simply knew too much. She was certainly a female Fox Mulder — in addition to investigating Kennedy’s death, she also alleged that the government had covered up the existence of UFO’s.
Davis is bringing the project to Fox (home of “The X-Files,” how appropriate!) and has set screenwriter Shane Salerno to pen the script. The movie will be a fictionalized conspiracy story, but this is definitely a story where the truth is stranger than fiction, don’t you think?
"Making Sense of the Sixties," a three-day symposium starting Friday and hosted by the Cyril H. Wecht Institute of Forensic Science and Law, will examine theories of cover-ups and conspiracies surrounding the slayings as well as ripple effects still felt today.
"It's a pretty weighty thing for people to confront," said Isaac Farris Jr., King's nephew and CEO of The Martin Luther King Jr. Center for Nonviolent Social Change in Atlanta. "Who knows how their deaths impacted our trajectory? Who knows where our nation might have been? My God, we wiped out three of the greatest leaders of a generation."
the tale of the two wallets from george bailey: [A]fter Oswald is arrested at the movie theater he refused to identify himself. After searching him, his wallet is retrieved, containing an ID for Lee H. Oswald and a second ID for the Alek Hidell alias. Here comes the rub. Back at the Tippet murder scene the wallet is now in the hands of Dallas police captain W. R. Westbrook. FBI agent Robert M. Barrett appears and is asked by Westbrook if he knows whom Lee Oswald or Alek Hidell is. Apparently Capt. Westbrook examined the contents. Barrett says no. You would think this would be a damning piece of evidence to put Oswald away for the Tippet murder, but that is not the case. The wallet seems to fade in out of the story. Barrett does not report this incident in his official FBI report but does tell James Hosty when he is writing his book (Assignment: Oswald, 1966) about the details of his visit to the murder scene and being asked about Oswald/Hidell.
'frame 313: the jfk assassination theories' from hartford courant: This documentary sets out five theories about who killed President Kennedy, including the Warren Commission conclusion that Lee Harvey Oswald acted alone. It doesn't promote a conspiracy-based alternative, though after hearing about evidence assembled by the 1977-79 congressional investigation, plus claims of CIA and/or Mafia involvement from various authorities, it's almost impossible to believe there wasn't more to it than Oswald. There are any number of people who claim knowledge of, or even involvement in, the plot. There's even a guy in prison who says he shot Kennedy from the grassy knoll. I was aware of the gist of these other theories (which all involve the CIA or Mafia or both) but not the details. This is an immensely interesting, informative, provocative movie.
5 things you didn't know: jfk assassination from askmen.com: It’s not uncommon for death to be good business, but in the case of the assassination of John F. Kennedy, it has become an industry unto itself. And what’s easy to overlook as you click through the phenomenal amount of information concerning the event - such as the locales, films and nonsense conspiracy theories -- is that a man lost his life in a brutal manner. That said, and with the recent discovery of files related to the assassination by the Dallas County D.A.’s office, we felt it was time to uncover five things you didn’t know about the JFK assassination...
1- Woody Harrelson’s father was an informal suspect 2- The public first saw the assassination footage 12 years after the shooting 3- 32 cameras were in Dealey Plaza 4- Before 9/11, it was the longest uninterrupted news event in TV history 5- At least one bystander was wounded
what if rfk had survived? from arthur schlesinger jr: Yet his memory haunts us still - his memory and the sense that things might have been different had he lived. Five books about him have recently been or are soon to be published. His face on the television screen evokes poignant feelings of loss. Radicals remember him as the last hope of traditional politics; liberals mourn a lost leader; some conservatives now even claim him as one of their own.
remastermind: dictaphone pro helps refine jfk recording from corvallis gazette times: It has been 45 years since Bill McWilliams first became immersed in the continuing investigation of the assassination of President John F. Kennedy. “I was right in the middle of it all,” he says. He still is, in his own way. From his home in North Albany, McWilliams works with engineers at the Lawrence Livermore National Loboratory in California, trying to determine the exact number of shots fired in Dallas, Texas on Nov. 22, 1963.
author sees 'redemptive violence' at work in jfk's death from abilene reporter news: Catholic peace activist Jim Douglass of Birmingham, Ala., believes in conspiracy theories, including the Big Daddy of them all -- the conspiracy to kill President John F. Kennedy. "There is no mystery as to how and why and by whom he was assassinated," Douglass said. And he's not referring to Lee Harvey Oswald, who he believes was framed as the assassin by the Central Intelligence Agency. Kennedy's enemies were covert operatives in his own government, Douglass alleges. "He was killed by a high-level national security state organized by the CIA," he said. "He was not carrying out what his national security state wanted."
from 9/11 blogger: Just as surely as the American public, and the rest of the world, was not told the truth about the assassinations of JFK and MLK, so it is with RFK, Robert F. Kennedy. Now, 40 years later, new scientifically derived evidence has come to the fore in the form of digital acoustic analysis. But even before this analysis was available, a host of anomalies arise from the events of that day, as well as the strange mental condition of Sirhan Sirhan, which may be the indication of a mind-controlled asset.
June 5, 2008, marks 40 years of disinformation about the death of RFK. To mark the occasion, here is another video from Ralph Cole's amazing collection. Cole is the powerhouse behind justicevision.org,* a great collection of video footage, that has captured some of the most important speakers on these recurring events of deception. 9/11 was far from the first, but if we work hard enough, maybe it will be the last. It's educational to know about the events that precede 9/11, to note the similarities, and learn from them. Because you can be sure that the perpetrators do.
40 years after rfk's death, questions linger from san francisco chronicle: The assassination was over in a few seconds. In the photograph of that moment, Bobby Kennedy, his eyes open and glazed, lies on his back on a hotel pantry floor, his head cradled by a busboy dressed starkly in white - a tableau that seems almost angelic were it not so brutal.
Less than 26 hours after being shot early on June 5, 1968, right after winning the California presidential primary, Kennedy was dead. He was 42. Three major assassinations rocked America in the 1960s. Two of the assassins - Lee Harvey Oswald, the killer of John F. Kennedy, and James Earl Ray, who shot Martin Luther King Jr. - are dead. But Sirhan Sirhan, convicted of killing Robert F. Kennedy 40 years ago this week in the Ambassador Hotel in Los Angeles, is living out his days in the California state prison at Corcoran. He is 64 and has never fully explained what happened that night other than to say he can't remember it.
Sirhan was a seemingly unremarkable man. He was a Palestinian who was raised in the Middle East until he was 12, when his family settled in Southern California. Before the Kennedy assassination, he held a series of menial jobs and at one point worked at the Santa Anita racetrack and had hoped to be a jockey.
After Los Angeles police found his diary, in which he had written, "RFK must die," investigators concluded that he was angry about Kennedy's support for Israel and somehow had tied the assassination date - he wrote that Kennedy must be killed "before 5 June 68" - to the one-year anniversary of the Six-Day War...
Documents and other information about the Robert Kennedy assassination can be found at these Web sites:
A new documentary, "RFK Must Die," will be screened at 9:20 tonight at the Roxie Theater, 3117 16th St., San Francisco. Another documentary, "Conspiracy Test: The RFK Assassination," ran on the Discovery Times Channel last year and can be found on YouTube.
update: john pilger confirms multiple rfk shooters from 9/11 blogger: Amy Goodman made note of the 40th anniversary of the assassination of RFK today with a tribute that included a useful history of the life and times of RFK, but Goodman also parroted the establishment line that Sirhan Sirhan killed RFK.... Goodman then talked to John Pilger on the telephone, and Pilger made the stunning admission that not only was he there that night 40 years ago, he heard multiple shots, says that the shots kept coming even after Sirhan had been wrestled to the ground, and he told this to the FBI. Something tells me that Pilger would strongly agree with the recently released acoustic evidence.
hillary cites rfk assassination as reason to continue from raw replay: Sen. Hillary Clinton, in defending her decision to continue running for the Democratic nomination that almost certainly will go to rival Sen. Barack Obama, reportedly invoked the shooting death of Sen. Robert F. Kennedy in 1968.
“My husband did not wrap up the nomination in 1992 until he won the California primary somewhere in the middle of June, right? We all remember Bobby Kennedy was assassinated in June in California.”
olbermann: clinton rfk remark ‘unforgivable’ from raw replay: An outraged Keith Olbermann directed blistering commentary at Hillary Clinton for referencing Robert F. Kennedy’s assassination while defending her decision to stay in the race. Hillary Clinton mentioned RFK’s assassination during an interview at Sioux Falls, S.D. Argus Leader. Clinton later expressed regret for the remarks.
the truth behind hillary’s faux pas: crime families kill the competition from kurt nimmo: Keith Olbermann, obvious Obama partisan, is shocked, just shocked Hillary Clinton would suggest “the inspirational leader” Obama might be assassinated, as RFK was assassinated before him, the Democrat nomination within his reach...
Here is the reality behind Clinton’s remark - political crime families, like Cosa Nostra crime families, on occasion kill the competition. RFK was not killed by a lone Sirhan Sirhan. Video and photographic evidence reveals that three senior CIA operatives were at the scene of Robert Kennedy’s assassination. “Three of these men have been positively identified as senior officers who worked together in 1963 at JMWAVE, the CIA’s Miami base for its Secret War on Castro,” the BBC reported in 2006. “I was in Dallas when we got the son of a bitch and I was in Los Angeles when we got the little bastard,” boasted David Morales, Chief of Operations.
from raw story: Forty years after Democratic rising star Robert F. Kennedy was killed at a Los Angeles hotel during his presidential run, new evidence suggests the man serving a life sentence for his murder did not fire the shots that killed the charismatic senator.
ford 'memoir' fuels jfk plot buffs from grand rapids press: Over the last four decades of his life, President Gerald Ford insisted there was no evidence anyone but Lee Harvey Oswald was involved in the assassination of John F Kennedy. That's why Ford's friends, family and biographers are casting doubt on a book publisher's claim that in his last days the president confided that Oswald did not act alone and that the CIA destroyed documents about Kennedy's murder.
'road to dallas': a treat for jfk theorists from chicago sun-times: There have been so many analyses, fantasies and theories devoted to the assassination of John F. Kennedy that anything purporting itself as a fresh perspective runs the risk of suffocation. Anything less than a smoking gun - or two - will cause many casual readers to shrug with the frustration that they've heard it all before. The Road to Dallas... is laboriously comprehensive at times and shockingly illuminating at others. It may not prove the conspiracy it suggests - that while Lee Harvey Oswald was the lone gunman he wasn't alone in planning the assassination - but it provides unusual substance to its argument because of the nature of the material and the background of the author.
