from corbett report: A source connected to the previously unreleased footage of the collapse of WTC1 and WTC7 which suddenly appeared on internet video-sharing site Veoh.com last weekend has revealed details about the footage to The Corbett Report. According to the source, the videos available on the internet come from a DVD that was compiled from raw footage taken in New York on September 11. The video on the internet has not been edited or manipulated in any way from the footage on the DVD, although the 'replay' of each collapse has been slowed down by 50 percent. The source indicated, however, that the raw footage had been edited before it was put on the DVD, thus explaining the sudden cut from a close-up of the North Tower to a long shot of the entire building with the collapse already underway... Perhaps the most widely discussed theory, that there was no plane crash at the Pentagon, is also mentioned, with evidence cited as the lack of debris and the small impact hole. The program also mentions that the FBI has refused to release video footage of the object impacting the Pentagon, but failed to disclose how many cameras captured it.

Specifically, the FBI confiscated 85 video tapes which may contain footage of the attack...

from raw story: Monday’s New York Times reported that former Deputy A.G. and 9/11 Commissioner Jamie Gorelick was a candidate for Attorney General in the new Obama Administration. Five-time Emmy winning investigative reporter Peter Lance details a shocking, but little known story about Gorelick involving the loss of a key al Qaeda operative. This is an excerpt from his 2006 HarperCollins book TRIPLE CROSS soon to be published in trade paperback:

"On December 16th, 1994, agents in the FBI’s San Francisco office made an extraordinary seizure. Mohammed Jamal Khalifa (MJK) Osama bin Laden’s brother-in-law and former roommate, was captured at a Holiday Inn Morgan Hills, California. If this arrest had been fully investigated by the FBI and the Justice Department, it might have led to the seizure of 9/11 “mastermind” Khalid Shaikh Mohammed, and stopped “planes as missiles” plot dead in its tracks. But what followed was series of missteps and bad decisions at the highest levels of the State and Justice departments that had a catastrophic impact on America’s ability to cut short bin Laden’s jihad against America.

At the center of the decision making at the time, was Deputy Attorney General Jamie Gorelick...

Even if the Feds were savvy enough to see the value in questioning him, however, they never got the chance. On January 5, 1995, a decision was made by Secretary of State Warren Christopher and supported by Deputy A.G. Gorelick, that arguably ranks as one of the most profound intelligence errors committed by any U.S. official in the years leading up to 9/11.

“Jordan is aware of Mr. Khalifah’s presence in the United States,” Christopher wrote to Attorney General Janet Reno, “and has asked for our assistance in sending him to Jordan so that he may be brought to justice. To permit Mr. Khalifah to remain in the United States in these circumstances would potentially be seen as an affront to Jordan and at odds with many of the basic elements of our cooperative bilateral relationship [and] potentially undermine our longstanding and successful policy of international legal cooperation to bring about the prosecution of terrorists.”

Christopher’s legal theory seemed part of a determined effort by top officials at Justice and State to craft an exit for Khalifa...

Nonetheless, the very next day, Gorelick — serving in Janet Reno’s absence as acting attorney general — sent an “expedite” letter in support of Christopher’s deportation request.

from steve watson: The FBI and the Department of Justice have released ten new videos relating to the events of 9/11, three years after a freedom of information act request for the footage was submitted. The newly released videos show footage of the attack on the twin towers in New York on September 11th 2001. Some of the videos were originally seized by the FBI in the hours after the attacks had taken place, others were handed to 9/11 investigators or discovered throughout the course of the investigation. The videos were secured by FOIA attorney Scott Hodes, under instruction from his client Mr Scott Bingham. Bingham has uploaded some of the footage to youtube and has set about writing blogs on the videos at http://www.penttbom.com.

Bingham writes: "This is the first bulk release of videos from the PENTTBOM investigative file. More will come later. How much later? I don’t know. But we requested 64 of 84 items on the ‘menu’ and we now have 10 new items." Bingham was previously successful in securing the release of CCTV footage from the Pentagon, Citgo gas station, and Double Tree hotel, which he documented on his website www.Flight77.info. However, none of these videos provided clear footage of the impact of flight 77 into the Pentagon. Although it was Bingham’s FOIA lawsuit that forced the release of the only known footage from the Pentagon and the surrounding area on 9/11, government watchdog group Judicial Watch took the credit and released it to the mainstream media networks. During the course of Bingham’s FOIA request, he discovered that the FBI was withholding at least another 84 surveillance tapes pertaining to the attacks, and subsequently requested the release of all the withheld footage.

Robert S. Mueller III, director of the F.B.I., disclosed the episode in a phone call to Bill Keller, the executive editor of The Times, and apologized for it. He also spoke with Leonard Downie Jr., the executive editor of The Washington Post, to apologize. F.B.I. officials said the incident came to light as part of the continuing review by the Justice Department inspector general’s office into the bureau’s improper collection of telephone records through “emergency” records demands issued to phone providers. The records were apparently sought as part of a terrorism investigation, but the F.B.I. did not explain what was being investigated or why the reporters’ phone records were considered relevant.

Investigators later described the widely parroted report that up to ten U.S airliners had been targeted as "speculative" and "exaggerated."

from propaganda matrix: The alleged ringleader of a much vaunted plot to blow up multiple transatlantic airliners using liquid explosives has been cleared of terrorism charges and of being a member of any terrorist group, rendering August's terror scare another hyped creation of government scare mongering.

In every single major terror bust or terror alert we have proven the evidence to be flawed and the charges to be cooked up nonsense aimed at prolonging the illusion that terror cells are lurking around every corner waiting to cause mayhem. The geopolitical agenda of the U.S., Britain and Israel depends on the proliferation phony terror threats in order to continue the farcical war on terror and take more of our innate freedoms at home to stifle dissent against the plot for worldwide hegemony.

The supposed transatlantic bomb plot has dissipated into another staged terror alert.

The BBC reports:

"A Pakistani judge has ruled there is not enough evidence to try a key suspect in an alleged airline bomb plot on terrorism charges. He has moved the case of Rashid Rauf, a Briton, from an anti-terrorism court to a regular court, where he faces lesser charges such as forgery."

"The Pakistani authorities described him as a key figure."

"But an anti-terrorism court in Rawalpindi found no evidence that he had been involved in terrorist activities or that he belonged to a terrorist organisation."

Since the panic surrounding the ridiculous hoax that led to an outright ban on all liquids in U.S. and British airports, the credibility of the alleged plot itself has crumbled.

In a series of reports following the August 10th scare, we traced the source of the alleged attack plot to Pakistani and British intelligence and were rapidly able to confirm that the story was nothing more than a manufactured ploy to frighten travelers at the height of the holiday season.

It comes as no surprise that the Pakistanis have acquitted Rashid Rauf. His involvement with the Lashkar-e-Toiba group provides a direct lineage back to the Pakistani ISI, which is in turn controlled by the CIA and British intelligence. Rauf likely acted as the willing patsy for the plot to be pinned on while the Blair government waved it in front of Britons as another reason for them to accept the Blairstrip One fascist surveillance state without dissent.

It was revealed that the alleged terrorist cell that planned to blow up ten planes had been completely infiltrated for weeks before the announcement of the foiled plot by British intelligence. From the evidence at hand allied with past history of how MI5 work, which was presented in our article, it can be reasonably claimed that an MI5 mole within the group orchestrated the entire operation.

According to news reports the British government and MI5 wanted to wait at least a week before busting the liquid terror cell that their agents had fully infiltrated, including planting a mole within the bomb squad. From the acknowledged timeline and admission that the real attack was scheduled for August 16th - little else can be deduced but the shocking fact that MI5 wanted the bombings to go forward - arresting the perpetrators only after the attack.

Echoing the activities of the 7/7 bombers, some of the main suspects in the case aside from Rashid Rauf exhibited behavior that in no way suggested they were preparing to launch mid-air suicide attacks on jumbo jets. Far from preparing his last will and testament, psyching himself up for his imminent death or acquiring the necessary materials to conduct the operation, Tayib Rauf was caught on CCTV hours before the launch of the plot doing something far more mundane - he was buying cakes for his father's confectionary business.

Former British Ambassador to Uzbekistan Craig Murray slammed the so-called foiled plot story as "propaganda" on behalf of Bush and Blair who yearn for a "new 9/11" to reinvigorate their flagging support base.

"None of the alleged terrorists had made a bomb. None had bought a plane ticket. Many did not even have passports, which given the efficiency of the UK Passport Agency would mean they couldn't be a plane bomber for quite some time," said Murray.

Unconfirmed sources suggest that insider speculators with informants inside the British intelligence apparatus took advantage of their foreknowledge of the announcement of the foiled terror plot to place put options on airline stocks, reaping the benefits of their subsequent fall. Airline stocks dropped as much as 28 per cent during morning trading following the announcement of the alleged liquid bomb plot.

Just when you thought it was safe to get back on a plane, just when you thought it may be possible to fly without fear of hijacking by liquid explosive baby milk wielding psychopath Islamofascists bent on destroying 400 airliners all at once thus igniting atmospheric gasses and triggering mass armageddon all over the planet, you were wrong.

You were wrong because now we must face the threat of the "nuzzling" terrorists.

Carl Persing and Dawn Sewell, a couple in their early forties, were observed nuzzling or kissing each other on the neck, and allegedly engaging in more adult sexual acts. "During these actions, Sewell was observed smiling," reads the indictment filed by the Federal Bureau of Investigation.

OH NO, NOT "SMILING" AS WELL, HOW COULD THEY?

In all seriousness however, this may at first seem like an isolated incident, sadly it is not, it is the latest in an unending series of examples of ludicrous airport and airline incidents that indicate the extent to which freedom of movement is under attack. It is also the latest example in a long history of the use of the Patriot Act against lawful American citizens.

Persing and Sewell are facing up to twenty years in prison for violating legislation that, although unlawfully passed, is supposed to be for use against those who commit or intend to commit terrorist acts.

Today also saw a 65-year-old Australian man fined S$10,000 ($6,423), under the United Nations anti-terrorism regulations, by a Singapore court for uttering the word "bomb" on a flight to Indonesia.

He was lucky he wasn't gunned down like the incident in Miami where Rigoberto Alpizar was shot on board American Airlines Flight 924 for "saying he had a bomb".

Previous mind boggling airport and airline incidents include:

• A Wisconsin man who wrote "Kip Hawley is an Idiot" on a plastic bag containing toiletries was detained in September.
• An 83-year-old wheelchair bound breast cancer, broken hip from a fall and stroke victim was manhandled and treated to extra screening at at Denver International Airport, in April.
• Harraj Mann was reported to the British airport police for listening to a Clash record in a taxi on the way to the airport. The weasel driver was so frightened by some of the lyrics that he took them as a rallying call for a terrorist attack.
• A man was arrested in Portland airport in December 2002 for becoming angry when security groped his pregnant wife and ordered her to strip in front of hundreds of other passengers.
• Passengers on a flight returning from Malaga, Spain complained about two Asian men who they thought were potential suicide hijackers. The evidence? They were Asian! To the astonishment of the students they were marched off the plane at gun point before it took off.
• On August 14th, a British Airways flight bound for New York was diverted back to Heathrow Airport because a mobile phone rang at the rear of the plane and its owner was not to be found.
  

In August of this year we saw the mother of all fake terror alerts used to beta test a system of total tyrannical control within airports where mothers carrying baby milk as well as gel bra wearers, lip gloss users, people who wear coats and children who carry dolls were treated as possible terrorists.

Several incidents have occurred where people who rely on medication have become ill or even fallen into comas because airport staff have refused to let them take medicines on board.

While a couple of weeks before a tabloid reporter had "planted a bomb" on a nuclear waste train by just walking onto it, the British and American public were being ordered around, background checked, screened and analyzed in any airport they entered.

Similarly, test runs where terrorists smuggle dummy nuclear bombs across the US border without being apprehended were successfully conducted by Glenn Spencer's American Border Patrol on three separate occasions. Airports and the general public, however, remain the focus of beefed up security measures.

Immediately after the very dubious plot details broke the British Government again attempted to ram though draconian detainee legislation, only to face a fierce backlash from the public who were sick and tired of being treated like mindless fools that believe anything they are told by their leaders.

Airline companies too have viscously attacked the government, this week it was revealed that BA's "terror alert" bill has hit 100 million pounds.

It is now clear that anything anyone does in an airport or on a plane, including talking and kissing, is being categorized as possible terrorism. This is an excuse to implement the first stage of an agenda to create a two tier caste system whereby only government authorized citizens will be able to travel and everyone will be subject to intense airport style harassment on city streets.

Such idiotic excuses are being used everyday to cram our lives with escalating security measures, biometric and body scans, lie detector tests, behavior analysis, facial analysis and spot teams to spy on passengers. We are being acclimatized to these things, first within airports. Technology and measures that you don't even see used in prisons or high security facilities are being passed off as completely normal in airports.

Every indication suggests that there are moves afoot to implement these measures and methods into everyday life. A year ago we were told that Federal air marshals were to expand their work beyond airplanes, launching counterterror surveillance at train stations and other mass transit facilities. So called "Visible Intermodal Protection and Response" teams — or VIPER teams, may soon be permanently implemented on everyday transport facilities.

With no real threat to counter such teams will busy themselves busting people selling tokens and herding people around like cattle in 'shock and awe' programs, whatever the hell that term is supposed to mean now, prodding them through transit scanners.

We are told that an attack on transit systems with in the US is inevitable. In Canada, record levels of funding are now being poured into transit security to develop new surveillance networks, including cameras; develop risk assessments and security plans, and hire staff. Of course this is necessary because despite the moves to totally crank up security on transit systems, Al-Qaeda has them as their main targets.

The airports are merely a beta test for the exact same measures to be rolled out in major cities, where regular checkpoint officials inspect internal passports and consumers are body scanned to enter a supermarket or any kind of public event as spy drones swoop overhead to catalogue movement and alert authorities to any suspicious body language (remember Poindexter's gait analysis?).

The majority of what I outlined is already being implemented at major transport and police hubs in the US and Britain. When the technology to automate these measures is more widely used, its cost will drop and in turn spread like wildfire outside of the major cities and into local communities - unless we scream bloody murder and stop it before it makes it out of the airport terminal and onto our street corners and we all end up being categorized as suspects along with the "nuzzling terrorists".
