CNN links 9/11 truthers with sky terrorists

from propaganda matrix: CNN reporter Christiane Amanpour equated yesterday's alleged sky terrorist liquid explosive plotters with the 9/11 truth movement, the latest brazen attempt to vilify anyone who disagrees with the official 9/11 fairytale.

Here's the quote in full.

"And there is some evidence that is coming out now, five years after 9/11, that many, many Muslims in England and around the world, according to documentaries that have been produced, are really succumbing to the conspiracy theories. They're really now saying that 9/11 was not al Qaeda; it was a U.S./CIA, Mossad/Israel, Zionist plot, basically designed to cause a war against Islam."

Taken on its own, one would think Amanpour was saying Muslims are embracing 9/11 'conspiracy theories,' not necessarily terrorists.

However, viewed in context of the fact that Amanpour made the statement on an Anderson Cooper special entitled 'Sky Terror,' which was solely about yesterday's alleged plot, the intended meaning becomes clear.

'Muslims' is Amanpour's euphemism for terrorists.

Other recent 9/11 hit pieces have slandered the 9/11 truth movement as having a violent extremist undertone. No incidents of violence at any 9/11 truth convergence or protest have ever occurred and organizers consistently advocate purely peaceful demonstrations.

During a recent appearance on Fox News, Newt Gingrich said that opponents of pro-war candidates and their supporters were "insurgents," equating anyone that disagrees with the Bush administration's foreign policy with terrorists.

After making myself a cup of tea I sat down to read my e mail this morning. One individual had taken the trouble to explain his contention with some of the points raised in my articles.

The extremist branch of the Neo-Con puss slugs advocate killing people who have a different opinion to the government.

The move is the administration's latest effort to deal with treatment of those taken into custody in the war on terrorism...

"I think what this bill can do is in effect immunize past crimes. That's why it's so dangerous," said a third attorney, Eugene Fidell, president of the National Institute of Military Justice.

Deputies said they found airplane passenger lists and security information inside a car in Washington County.

The Washington County sheriff said police stopped Osama Abulhassan and Ali Houssaiky on a traffic violation and found the flight documents, $11,000 in cash and 12 phones.

The assistant county prosecutor wouldn't say how the phones, cash and flight information involved terrorism.

Early arrivals to Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport and Dulles International Airport outside Washington found the airports at full alert.

At Pier D at BWI, a Maryland Transportation Authority Police officer was telling those waiting that all flights were delayed because of "security issues."

Investigators have indicated the plot centered on a plan to use liquid explosives, and many airports are now prohibiting passengers from carrying any liquids on board with them. The security line stretched the length of Dulles airport and check-in lines were crowded as well. Police with bomb-sniffing dogs were patrolling the airport and Transportation Security Administration officials asked passengers to put all liquids, including their morning coffee or any other drinks, in large plastic bins.

Keith West and Marylin Brophy were on their way home to Wyoming from Johannesburg, South Africa, and were surprised by the restrictions.

"If it's for security, I'll do it, but most of it is just standing in lines," West said.

In September of 1992 Youssef entered the US with Ahmad Ajaj. Ajaj's luggage contained documents on how to make bombs and was stuffed with fake passports and ID's.

Ajaj was arrested - amazingly Youssef was released.

Youssef later masterminded the WTC '93 bombing after FBI agents provided the terrorists with real explosives under cover of a supposed sting operation.

"We are reasonably satisfied ... that this sort of thing would not happen at Google, although you can never say never," Schmidt said during an appearance at a major search engine conference in San Jose.

The security breakdown, disclosed earlier this week, publicly exposed about 19 million search requests made by more than 658,000 AOL subscribers during the three months ended in May. Time Warner Inc.'s AOL intended to release the data exclusively to researchers, but the information somehow surfaced on the Internet and was widely copied.

The classified information was described as "relating to the national defense of the United States of America ..."

Fire Control Technician 3rd Class Ariel J. Weinmann, 21, of Salem, Ore., allegedly deserted his submarine, the USS Albuquerque, in July 2005 and took electronic copies of information classified "confidential" and "secret." According to military charge sheets, Weinmann tried to pass information to foreign government officials in three countries, once while on active duty.

Private companies would love to get their hands on the Census Bureau's data. Web sites like Mapquest.com or maps.google.com, usually show addresses within the correct city block, but they will point to the correct house less than half the time.

Don Cooke, an executive from the mapping company TeleAtlas, says the Census Bureau's database would immediately solve that problem, and he'd like to use it.

"The laws basically say the intellectual property that's generated by the government belongs to us citizens, so I'd like to get it," he says. "Because I don't want to spend the money to go out and compile it!"

AOL proudly releases massive amounts of private data

from techcrunch: AOL must have missed the uproar over the DOJ’s demand for "anonymized" search data last year that caused all sorts of pain for Microsoft and Google. That’s the only way to explain their release of data that includes 20 million web queries from 650,000 AOL users.

The data includes all searches from those users for a three month period this year, as well as whether they clicked on a result, what that result was and where it appeared on the result page...

The utter stupidity of this is staggering. AOL has released very private data about its users without their permission. While the AOL username has been changed to a random ID number, the abilitiy to analyze all searches by a single user will often lead people to easily determine who the user is, and what they are up to. The data includes personal names, addresses, social security numbers and everything else someone might type into a search box.

from guardian: Hi-tech biometric passports used by Britain and other countries have been hacked by a computer expert, throwing into doubt fundamental parts of the UK's £415m scheme to load passports with information such as fingerprints, facial scans and iris patterns.

Speaking at the Defcon security conference in Las Vegas, Lukas Grunwald, a consultant with a German security company, said he had discovered a method for cloning the information stored in the new passports. Data can be transferred onto blank chips, which could then be implanted in fake passports, a flaw which he said undermined the project.

The revelation also casts another shadow over the government's plan for a national ID card, which would contain much of the same information.

"The whole passport design is totally brain damaged," Mr Grunwald told Wired.com. "From my point of view all of these [biometric] passports are a huge waste of money - they're not increasing security at all." Since March anyone applying for a UK passport has been issued with a biometric version, which contains physical identification information.
