from clyde lewis: It is always difficult to end a Ground Zero radio show with unfinished business. That is exactly what happened when I tried to explain the fictitious predictive programming piece called “Black Jack.” While most of what I talked about sparked a flood of calls there was one e-mail I received that I couldn’t quite figure out.

The e-mail spoke of Pegasus the white horse and Cerberus the three headed dog who stands guard at the gates of hell. I read it on the air to see if anyone saw the significance. I said to everyone that I should get home to find out what this e-mail was about.

The e-mail was titled, “White Vans. Pale Horse, Pegasus. Black Jackal, Cerberus.” It talked about a website that explained that there is some sick symbolism being used to suggest that the BP oils ill disaster was a false flag attack on the United States. There was a link to this headline: “Cerberus: Guarding the Gates of Hell – DynCorp, Pegasus, BP, Goldman Sachs – Gulf Oil Disaster Planned.”

Coincidentally this e-mail came to me while I was talking about the Denver airport and the arrival of a seven ton statue of Anubis, the Egyptian God of death that now stands guard over the controversial airport.

I am one of those guys who saw the movie All the President’s Men and believed that a journalist had a responsibility to keep our government honest and not spin things to take the stink out of their policies and political faux pas. Times have changed and looking back at the movie again it plays out like the X-files, full of dark shady characters and two conspiracy theorists Woodward and Bernstein who tell their editor that the public has a right to know about this government conspiracy that goes all the way to the President.

man killed in dc metro crash ordered jets above capitol on 9/11

from cnn: A former commanding general of the District of Columbia National Guard - who ordered jets over the Capitol amid the September 11, 2001, terror attacks - was among those killed in a transit train crash in Washington this week, authorities said Tuesday.

Retired Maj. Gen. David F. Wherley Jr. and his wife, Ann, both 62, were killed along with seven others Monday in the most deadly train crash in the history of the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority.

"He was as fine a public servant, as dedicated to the United States of America ... as anyone I have ever met," Washington Mayor Adrian Fenty told reporters Tuesday.

On the morning of the September 11 attacks, Wherley, commander of the 113th Fighter Wing at Andrews Air Force Base, deployed pilots with orders from then-Vice President Dick Cheney to protect the White House and take out any aircraft that threatened the Capitol, according to the 9/11 Commission Report.

"They said challenge them, try to turn them away; if they don't turn away, use whatever force is necessary to keep them from hitting buildings downtown," Wherley told the Washington Post in a 2002 interview.

Wherley, a 40-year military veteran, served as the commanding general of the D.C. Guard from 2003 to 2008.

"I am personally grieved by this unbelievable tragedy," said Maj. Gen. Errol R. Schwartz who succeeded Wherley when he retired.

The Wherleys are survived by a son, David, a noncommissioned officer in the U.S. Army Golden Knights; a daughter, Betsy; and one grandchild, according to the National Guard.

The seven others killed in the collision were: train operator Jeanice McMillan, 42, of Springfield, Virginia; Mary Doolittle, 59; Lavanda King, 23; Veronica Dubose, 26; Cameron Williams, 36; and Dennis Hawkins, 64, all of Washington; and Ana Fernandez, 40, of Hyattsville, Maryland.

from cryptogon: I’ve avoided following the Blackjack/Jackblack developments too closely on here because I’m pretty sure that the point is to study the people who are paying attention to it. And yes, I’m up to speed on all the latest nonsense. There’s no need to send me any more story suggestions or emails about it, UNLESS you know who is behind it.

Next week, we have record U.S. Treasury debt offerings that might not go so well. There’s also Ardent Sentry 2009 underway now, and running into next week. And… Wait for it: The Summer/Winter solstice.

The fact that these events play out at the same time as the Blackjack/Jackblack game/viral marketing/social experiment is probably just a coincidence. In fact, I wasn’t planning on mentioning this at all because whoever is behind the Blackjack/Jackblack thing is probably getting off on watching all the activity on the message boards.

But then Boeing took a look. And now DHS is sniffing around.

Personally, I don’t think it’s viral marketing. I can’t imagine that there are more than a couple of thousand people on the planet even paying attention to this ridiculous stunt. I also seriously doubt that it has anything to do with any sort of pre-attack planning. I mean, come on you guys, snap out of it… My best guess is that it’s a sociology project and that the topics involved with it finally attracted the attention of DHS and others.

Who’s behind it? I have no idea, but I bet DHS is going to find out.

from chicago tribune: Several cars from a Canadian National Railway Co. train smoldered Saturday near Rockford as federal investigators continued to probe whether standing water from heavy rains was a factor in a Friday night derailment that left a 41-year-old woman dead and three others injured. Zoila Tellez of Rockford died trying to flee her car, which was stopped at a rural Cherry Valley railroad crossing when the train derailed. Three passengers got out and ran, but Tellez collapsed 20 feet behind her vehicle and died, Winnebago County Coroner Sue Fiduccia said Saturday. "When everything went to hell and debris started flying and everything, she got out of her car and started to run away from it and that's when she got caught in the fire," said Fiduccia, who planned a Sunday autopsy. A 17-year-old female passenger was in critical condition in the Stroger Hospital burn unit after being flown by helicopter Saturday, a hospital spokesman said. Another remained in a Rockford hospital. The train was on its route from Freeport to Chicago when 18 cars derailed about 9 p.m. Friday, CN spokesman Patrick Waldron said. National Transportation Safety Board officials said a probe could take up to a year. A team of 15 investigators, including representatives from the Federal Railroad Administration and CN will examine track structure and maintenance, integrity of the train cars, crossing signals and the hazardous materials associated with the crash, a spokesman said.

update3: 6 dead, 70+ injured in subway collision in US capital
from dpa: Two subway trains collided Monday in the US capital, leaving at least six people dead and 70 injured, authorities said. The above-ground collision occurred about 5 pm (2100 GMT) just inside Washington, near the Maryland state line. One train had apparently stopped between stations before being struck from behind by a second train. 'The scene is as horrific as you can imagine,' Washington Mayor Adrian Fenty said. Local news footage showed one heavily damaged carriage pushed up on top of another. The force of the collision tore the floor out of the moving train's front car as it vaulted onto the stopped carriage. The driver of the moving train was among the dead, officials said. The driver's compartment at the front of the train was obliterated. Both trains were inbound from the suburbs into the city during the evening rush hour and apparently not filled to capacity. A similar collision of outbound trains packed with commuters at that hour could have produced a far higher casualty toll. Washington Fire Chief Dennis Rubin said that 70 people had been treated for injuries. Of those, 50 were 'walking wounded,' 14 people suffered serious injuries and six were in critical condition.

from june 18-24, norad & northcom are running 'ardent sentry 09', a series of military exercises in iowa, kansas, wyoming & oregon with "simulated train derailments and foreign animal disease ... an incident involving a simulated nuclear weapon."

we've previously discussed 'blackjack' on episode115 of media monarchy & guerrilla fearmongering on the ground zero lounge. however, what we didn't know then was that the events depicted in the telegraph's "slide show story" would coincide with these nationwide drills, as well as the summer solstice & sun symbology, barack hussein obama, the two-state settlement, the grand chessboard and just the growing sense of rising tensions in both outer space & inner space...

from northcom: North American Aerospace Defense Command and U.S. Northern Command are planning to conduct a combined exercise June 18 - 24 that will incorporate several military exercises with a National Guard exercise. These linked exercises are referred to as ARDENT SENTRY 09. Events will take place in multiple venues across the country including Iowa, Kansas, Oregon, Wyoming, and off the East and West Coasts.

The exercise will allow several Department of Defense organizations and some federal and state partners to implement plans and respond to a variety of notional events. Historically, exercises like these have helped both DoD and other agencies review their processes and procedures and focus their future training efforts on closing gaps and identifying areas that need additional attention.

Major AS 09 venues include:
* NORAD’s AMALGAM DART exercise involving air defense activities at Camp Rilea, Oregon;
* The National Guard’s VIGILANT GUARD exercise focused on civil support with major activities in Des Moines, Iowa and Topeka, Kansas; and,
* A Nuclear Weapons Incident exercise (NUWAIX) with a U.S. Air Force response near Cheyenne, Wyoming;

The activities in the vicinity of Camp Rilea will involve the deployment of an Army National Guard ground-based air defense system that will be integrated with Air Force airborne systems (AWACS and fighters) and a Navy Aegis Destroyer.
