insane clown posse claim they've been evangelical christians all along

insane clown posee, jon ronson & god create a controversy loaf that smells fishy to the multitudes...
insane clown posse claim they've been evangelical christians all alongfrom jon ronson: ICP have been going for 20 years, always wearing clown make-up, which looks slightly lumpy because it's painted over their goatees. They've been banned from performing in various cities where juggalos have been implicated in murders and gang violence. ICP have a fearsome reputation, fostered by news reports showing teenagers in juggalo T-shirts arrested for stabbing strangers and lyrics like "Barrels in your mouth/bullets to your head/The back of your neck's all over the shed..."

All of which made Violent J's announcement a few years ago really quite astonishing: Insane Clown Posse have this entire time secretly been evangelical Christians. They've only been pretending to be brutal and sadistic to trick their fans into believing in God. They released a song, Thy Unveiling, that spelt out the revelation beyond all doubt...

The news shook the juggalo community to its core. While some fans claimed they'd actually had an inkling, having deciphered some of the hidden messages in several songs, others said they felt deeply betrayed and outraged: they'd been innocently enjoying all those songs about chopping people up and shooting women, and it was Christian rock?

Violent J explained himself unapologetically to a New Jersey newspaper: "You have to speak their language. You have to interest them, gain their trust, talk to them and show you're one of them. You're a person from the street and you speak of your experiences. Then at the end you can tell them: God has helped me."

Of course, one might argue that 20 years was, under the circumstances, an incredibly long time for them to have pretended to be unholy, and that, from a Christian perspective, the harm they did while feigning unholiness may even have outweighed the greater good.

I've come to Milwaukee because ICP have just released their most audacious Christian song to date: Miracles. In it, they list God's wonders that delight them each day...

These idiots sat in front of me at a movie once. They weren't wearing makeup and repeatedly hurled f-bombs at the screen. If their fans buy into this hoax, they get what they deserve.

THIS IS NOT CHRISTIAN actions. you do not trick people to christ. you do not hide a christian message in a ton of satanic hate lyrics. dont be fooled by a crazy weak, satanic ploy to bring christians away from God's path to satans path.

I grew up on icp, went to their first concerts. I never thought that they were satanic, it was all about being different and cool(pushing the boundaries). Don't read too much into this, or the simple lyrics. They are regular people who use fame to their advantage anyway they can, just like you would.

This ISN'T of God!! You do NOT use deceptive practices to gain converts! The Bible says that the Word of God does NOT return void....when it is spoken it accomplishes that which it is supposed to WITHOUT watering it down or hiding the message! I DO NOT agree with hiding the Truth from anyone!!! These men do NOT serve the God of Israel, perhaps it is the OTHER god they serve.....

What a joke. :/

No talent bums looking for a new gimmick. All they ever did was take the rapper's schtick and modify it for a white trash idiot audience. Their "music" sucks beyond belief. Hey ICP, do humanity a favor and commit suicide.

The video's symbolism:

as above so below
i will ascend to the heavens
pyramids
fusion of oposites
feminine divine
sun and moon
hexograms
magic
water, fire, air, earth (spirit)
loves his mom for giving him his time on the planet = worshiping the creation more than the creator
caterpillar to butterfly = transformation to being like God (also there is a DNA helix behind the butterfly)

I'll just stop there. I'm fairly certain that this is not christian music (language aside). Isaiah 14:12-14 states Lucifer's 5 point plan: I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.

And to be honest the symbolism of ICP's little miracle video here is 100% in line with lucifer's plan of deception.
