She claimed that "we have... really good news coming out of Baghdad" but "The View" co-hosts and the media more generally prefer to focus on the narrative of the US as a loser. And when challenged, by Barbara, Laura reverted to the age-old conservative tactic of questioning Barbara's patriotism, asking, "Do you want to win in Iraq?"
