idea of president cheney makes americans uneasyfrom angus-reid: Many adults in the United States express reservations about their current vice-president taking over as head of state, according to a poll by Opinion Dynamics released by Fox News. 53 per cent of respondents say they would not be comfortable with Dick Cheney as president.

Cheney served in the U.S. House of Representatives from 1978 to 1989, and as defence secretary from 1989 to 1993 under George H. Bush, directing "Operation Just Cause" in Panama and "Operation Desert Storm" in Iraq. From 1993 to 2000, Cheney headed the Halliburton company...
