from national geographic: "Jonestown" looks at the tragic deaths of 913 men, women and children who lived in a religious compound in the jungles of Guyana, South America. The program investigates leader Jim Jones and his message of brotherhood and social justice. From his Indiana roots, to California, and then, to Guyana, "Jonestown" seeks to discover what compelled Jones' followers to kill their children and take their own lives.
