NJ preps for bio-terrorismfrom 1010wins: New Jersey will begin a week long drill Sunday to test how well five specialty labs detect bio terrorism agents and how quickly and accurately the state can transmit health-related information during a terror attack...

In an actual terrorist attack, specimens would be taken from patients arriving at emergency rooms and tested in the hospital lab. Those labs would be the first to spot suspicious samples or identify a possible biologic link...

The biological agent that will be used in the upcoming drill was not disclosed.
