And as that 2010 reunion tour-- which coincided with extensive reissues of the band's 90s-era catalog-- continued to rack up positive notices well into 2011, there was little doubt that, even well into their 40s, frontman Jon Spencer, guitarist Judah Bauer, and drummer Russell Simins still possessed the stamina of their twentysomething selves." I saw JSBX on the Fourth of July Summerstage concert at Central Park in Manhattan in 1999. Roc Raida (filling in for a canceled Mix Master Mike) and Luscious Jackson opened up for them. I have some black-and-white photos that I took, remind me to show you sometime...
