Rumors have it that Papandreou has replaced 4 highly decorated generals with NATO loyalist officers because of the growing danger of a military coup-d'état that is fomenting.

The high ranking staff members that were "replaced" are:

Air Chief Marshal - General Ioannis Giagkos

Chief of the Hellenic Army General Staff Lieutenant General Fragkos Fragkoulis

Chief of the Hellenic Air Force Lieutenant General Vasilios Klokozas

Chief of the Hellenic Navy General Staff Vice-Admiral Dimitrios Elefsiniotis
