GROUND ZERO COMES TO KXL FM + AM NIGHTLY
Other Worldly Show Takes Flight Starting April 11th
(Portland, Oregon) … Clyde Lewis, host of Ground Zero, takes up residence weeknights, 9pm-midnight on News Radio KXL with his talk show about the paranormal, para-political and the occult, starting Monday April 11th. The highly rated program originating in Portland has existed in various formats since April 1, 1995 and in 1999 was nationally syndicated in several cities around the United States.
Lewis has had a storied career over the years, including voiceover and on screen roles in both film and television. A published writer, his essays have appeared in various publications from U.F.O. Magazine to Rolling Stone. He has produced shows online as well as for radio and television, and has also hosted Ground Zero Lounge, a nightclub show of conspiracy theories about the “unknown” often considered misunderstood and not-yet-explained.
“I’ve seen the response to Clyde’s show over the years and am really excited to offer it nightly to our KXL listeners,” commented Brian Jennings, Alpha Broadcasting’s Director of Talk Programming. “Clyde is a unique personality with a perspective that quite simply is not heard anywhere else on the air. Ironically one of his first syndicated stations was KXL and so he’s come full circle. I’ve had letters from listeners as far away as England, Spain and Iceland requesting this show!”
KXL delivers news and information, featuring in-depth reporting on local, national and international stories, weather and the most frequent and thorough traffic reports throughout the day, along with the extremely successful, high profile Lars Larson Show.
KXL FM + AM are owned and operated by Alpha Broadcasting, along with KXTG-FM, KUPL-FM, KINK-FM, and KUFO-AM. Headquartered in Portland, Oregon, Alpha Broadcasting is the only locally owned radio group in the Portland metro area, reaching more than one million listeners a week with six stations covering rock, country, news, talk and sports.
